For those of you that I don't talk to on a regular basis or you do not have a Facebook, I wanted to do a little update on our girl Aliya! A couple weeks ago Aliya auditioned for the Tuacahn's production of Annie! She was one of 400 kids that ended up trying out. The kids went in four-five at a time and snag their song choice. Aliya sang It's a Hard Knock Life! Aliya is a tini girl, but can belt that song like you wouldn't believe! I could hear her all the way in the hallway! A couple days later she got a dance call back. Yay! She was so excited. She went to the call back along with about sixty kids!! Although she has not had a lot of dance training, she is very comfortable dancing and was not very nervous! Just excited! A few days later we got a call saying the directer would like her to come and read some lines. Wow!! She had a dream the night before that she made the play, so she was very excited to hear she was moving onto the next round. We went to the acting call back this last Saturday along with only fourteen girls, seven in her group! Yikes! The directer just had them sit and read a scene from the play. Aliya read the part of the Orphan Kate! Then they sang You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile! They sang the song together and then by them selves. She sang her little heart out and in my opinion she did awesome!! So, now we wait. Everyday she comes home from school asking if they called and everyday I say not today honey!! It's nerve wrecking!! From what I hear, it could be a while before they make a decision or they could even have another call back!! Craziness! I am so incredibly proud of her whatever the outcome! She really has worked very had and really wants to have the experience of being in a "real play" as she puts it!! I will keep you updated as we hear!

Happy Birthday Grant!!
This past week our baby turned four!! It is very hard to believe that he is getting so is big! All day he would measure himself with objects around the house! He would put a pillow in front of him and say "See Mom, I really am four cause I am bigger than this pillow.! " Or he would say something and say "Mom, that's what a four year old says." It was so fun to see how proud he was to be four!! He got a big kid scooter from Mom and Dad and rode it around every chance he got! He also went to school where tey had their Valentines party! He had a great day!
For dinner he wanted to go to Pizza Factory! He loves the pasta and it is his favorite place to eat! So we called up the Grandma's and Grandpa's, Aunt's and Uncles and cousins and had a party!
Savannah and Aliya!!

Grant has added such a sweetness to our family! He is always trying to prove his independence within our family, but has a hard time in the outside world without his brother and sister! He is very funny and loves to make us laugh! He is our little cuddle bug! We love you Granters!!

Go Cardnals!! Maybe next time guys!
Super Bowl Sunday was a lot of fun!! Dan and Angie invited us to come and eat and watch the game at their house!! Boy did we eat! I am still full today! The girls watched the game upstairs on the couch very close to the food, which I kept consuming every two minutes. The guys were downstairs in the theater room and the kids just played their own game outside! They played pool and the Wii and had a great time together!!
I think Josh liked the cheese ball and crackers!!
Grant did have dessert, but he thought eating cool whip out of the container was a much better idea!!
What a great day!
