This picture is so funny. It is funny to me, but I don't know if it's the "you just had to be there" type of funny. One night last month I decided to let the kids eat their dinner outside. We took a giant blanket out in our front yard and had a picnic. It had just started to cool off at night and it was actually bearable to be out there. It was starting to get dark and I told the kids we needed to head inside. They begged to stay out a few more minutes. Right when I snapped this picture I was telling them about the bats and how they like to dive at your head. I love their little scared faces. They were all terrified and ran for the door. I took them on the front porch and we watched the bats fly around for about twenty minutes and then the bats were gone. When it was dark enough Neal and I took them back outside and made a bed on the grass and we looked up at the stars. I showed them my favorite constellation and they chose theirs. It was a great night. It is simple moments like this Neal and I will never forget.
haha thats so funny! they would get terrified about that! haha i love your kids! they are so funny! they are awesome! i bet they had a blast being outside, it was probably 70 degrees and i bet it was perfect, lookin at stars with mom and dad. i bet they loved that.
I decided to add a music player. I don't know about any of you, but I do everything to music. Clean, read, drive and now when I am writing. Some of the songs are ones I am very attached to. Songs that remind me of movies I love, family, friends, and different times in my life. Music can be very powerful and whenever I hear certain songs I am brought back to certain moments where I remember exactly where I was and exactly how I felt. Other songs are just songs I love. Let me know some of the songs you love and I will add them, so when you are reading about my life, you will have something good to listen to.
If by chance..
you are at work and you decide to look at my blog and Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" blares through your speakers, I am sorry. That was Neal's add to the music player. You can thank him later. hehe :)

I love it, we need to do more things like that!
THAT IS GRANT IN THE FRONT???? Because he looks JUST like Landon in that picture and I have never seen him look like Landon before.
On a different note... I love that we both find it hilarious when our kids get freaked out.
