We miss you, Daddy!!

On Wednesday, we decided to take a spur of the moment trip up North to see my Mom and Dad. Neal was going to be at the fire station a lot and I think he just needed some time to himself because he did not protest. So, I let Aliya miss two days of school (which I never do.), and we headed up to the cold and the snow dodging snow storms along the way. Here are some fun pictures from our visit so far.

I am wearing my Dad's hat, gloves and jacket. I am wearing my Mom's old fashion boots. I do not own any of these things. We started building a snowman with all the kids and in the end, Aliya and I were left. I think we did good considering I have not built a snowman since I was fourteen.

The day we arrived the kids could not help themselves. They just had to get out in the snow. After searching and searching for snow gloves all over town we finally found some and they had a blast playing in the blizzard.

Yes those are bags on Landon's feet. Yes, Yes we are from St. George. Couldn't find boots.

Grant lasted only about five minutes. When he came in screaming cause he was so cold, he informed me he did not like the snow.

They love it!!

Nana went out to get Grant's glove and decided to throw her self backwards and do a snow angel. The kids thought that was the coolest thing in the world.

We are having a great time. The kids miss their Daddy like crazy. They do not like being away from him at all. I guess I kinda miss him also. :) hehe!!
